More Easter Pictures

Eggstra Special

We just got back yesterday from a great weekend in Delta with Layne's family. Logan had the time of his life playing for 2 days straight with his cousins and grandparents. And the Easter Bunny also came to Delta so Logan thought that was pretty cool and loved all the treats and monster truck that the Easter bunny brought. ( we have enough candy to feed the whole country I think ) He ended up getting 3 easter baskets and getting to have 2 egg hunts so to say that he got loaded up is an understatement. Logan even walked away with the 3rd prize basket for his easter bunny coloring picture from the contest at the local grocery store. He didn't quite understand why they were giving him candy but he didn't ask too many questions and realized the situation was entirely in his favor, and needless to say mom and dad were quite proud of their little artist. I also won a turkey that was enjoyed by the family for our easter feast so we had some pretty good easter luck this year. We enjoyed being able to visit with all the family and getting away for a couple days. Hope everyone also enjoyed their easter holiday as much as we did!

Loganisms

So I just had to share some of the recent things that Logan has been saying a lot lately, we new refer to them as Loganisms becuase we just dont know how else to describe them and those of you who know Logan well you probably know what I am talking about.

Last week a commercial came on wtih Barack Obama and he said, "oh wow mom, is that Barack Obama? He is my best friend" I dont think our president realizes one of his biggest fans is a 3 year old.

Then after watching an episode of Martha Speaks, at dinner that night he told Layne, "Hey dad, that triangle means it's for becycling! can I becycle this dad? "
We both got a kick out of it and know he has to check almost everything for the triangle to see if he can recycle it. I dont think he is really trying that hard to " go green" but I guess its a good reminder for me.

His new favorite number seems to be 11, dont ask me why but if he knows he wants to get out of something he doesn't want to do then he'll ask for just 11 more minutes, not the typical 5 or 10, but exactly 11. Do we ever let him have those 11 minutes, we'll lets just say we like to make him thinks he is. :)

Weekend Fun

We had a fun visit with my parents over the last weekend. They obviously snapped lots of great shots and thought I would post and share some here too.

We went to Chuckie Cheese and played at the park and enjoyed some time relaxing and playing and letting the kids get spoiled of course too.

Always nice to have visitors to share a fun weekend with.

DisneyLand Fun

So we finally had an opportuntiy to take our children to Disneyland to the first time earlier this week. What a memorable experience it was and so much fun. Logan was a little unsure what to expect or what it was all about but it didn't take long to get the hang of it and enjoyed all the fun he could. He loved th ToyStory BuzzLight year ride, the Autopia Cars, and the Nemo Submarine ride. We even got to all ride on Pirates all together which was one of my personal favorites. Anika was such a trooper all day and slept in her stroller and enjoyed some rides with us.
We can't wait to go back again soon hopefully and enjoy more fun together!!
We also enjoyed some fun at Newport Beach the day after and had a blast there too. Logan loved the sand and waves and our car brought back half the beach I think :) We enjoyed beautiful weather but hopefully won't get lost on our way home next time. (6 hours in a car with a teething baby is not exactly fun) I was nervous that Logan would be bored and not have anything to do there, but boy was I wrong. I bet he could have stayed all day and loved every minute of it.

Just some fun pix of us in our game gear and having super bowl snacks, (even if you don't watch the game you have to admit the excuse to eat all that yuumy food is sure nice)

Santa Came

so here are some of the fun memories that we captured on christmas morning. I think our favorite momemt was when Logan opened up his new Back to the Future Delorian car. He was so excited and has been flying it around ever since. He got about 10 new disney Cars cars and also has new "homes" for all of them, which is nice for Layne and I.
It took about 3 hours to get through everything and we all had such a fun time together. Annika is enjoying her new walker and baby einstein toys and making messes with biter biscuits.
We made lots of fun memories and enjoyed another wonderful christmas.

Frosty

So better late than never right? We did take advantage of the excitement of snow in Vegas and Layne and Logan made a snowman in our backyard. They sure had fun and of course I grabbed the camera and tried to capture the moment. I know its a couple of days late but the news is still buzzing around here about "The Storm of 2008" as the news keeps referring to it. Layne and I just laugh at the national attention for 3 inches of snow when lots of other places around the country are getting pounded with feet of it.

But making Frosty is fun no matter where you are!
